KHWA has organized 17-mobile  teams to visit regist- ered patients, NGO has another 2-mobile  teams.The  purpose of  the  mobile teams is to  administer follow-up  treatment of registered patients in order to prev- ent complications and to closely observe the detecti- on newly-infected cases. Recently because of increas- ing immigrant worker in our country, the mobile tea- m also performs a role of the foreigner medical  examination  of  Hansen's  disease and other disease (etc. AIDS).

KHWA runs the "Out-patient Clinic" attached to the Institute for Leprosy Research (ILR) and 12-clinics in 12 provinces. The out-patient clinics are maintained chiefly for the detection of early, cases of leprosy. Registered patients are under medical care for leprosy or complicated diseases at Out-patient clinics. 　

"In-Patient care unit" attached to Institute for Leprosy Research (ILR), we have 29-beds, modern medical materials and various medical testing equipments. Newly-infected patients, ulcer patients who are difficult to care with home-remedies and deformed patients who need reconstructive surgery are hospitalized. We have an operating room, a laboratory, a physiotherapy section, a ulcer treatment room, and a radiation room for the patients.
